Health in Your Covenant
The Father God and Jesus have provided a covenant of health for all mankind. Healing and divine health are part of the provision.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Salvation NT:4991 KJV - deliver, health, salvation, save, saving.
God has always provided health for His people, even under the old covenant.
Exodus 23:25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and He shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Proverbs 4:20-23 Notice verse 22, “They are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.”
This verse says the Word of God is health to our flesh. How do we apply this in our daily lives? Proverbs 18:21 tells us that death and life are in the power of the tongue. As we speak God’s Word we are speaking life and health to our entire being. Matthew 12:35 gives us another look at the same truth, “a good man out of the good treasure [deposit] of the heart bringeth forth good things.” The Word is health to our body as we study, mediate, and speak it out of our heart because it has been deposited in abundance. Proverbs 3:8 says the wisdom of God shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. You get the wisdom of God through His Word.
Isaiah 53:4 Surely our sicknesses He hath borne, And our pains — He hath carried them, And we — we have esteemed Him plagued, Smitten of God, and afflicted. YLT
Isaiah speaking of Jesus, hundreds of years before the cross, says Jesus “hath borne our sickness and our pains”. Do you realize that Jesus could heal people in His day just on the prophecy that Isaiah gave concerning Him?
Matthew 8:16-17 When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick: 17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Health is ours, it belongs to us. Jesus carried all of our physical ailments in His own body that we might be free from them. Physical problems were part of the curse and we have been delivered from the curse. [Galatians 3:13]
Begin today to declare your freedom from sickness and disease. Start speaking the Word of the covenant to your body. Demand that your body respond and be healed in Jesus name. Remember death and life are in your words (tongue). Speak life!!!!!
